Chateau Chantemerle “Cru Bourgeois”

Description

This is a dark wine, almost black, with deep red highlights. The nose is deliciously warm, and well-marked by its aging in wood. There are hints of vanilla pastry and graphite. As soon as it hits the palate, flavors of wood are present. Vanilla and cocoa blend perfectly. The structure is fleshy, with soft and full tannins. The heart of the flavor has a beautiful volume. The fruit lasts to the finale, spread over dense tannins, but already well blended. A very charming wine, it will integrate its wood over the years for the benefit of its complex tertiary aromas. A great success in a vintage that required professionalism and expertise.
